Troop withdrawal from Afghanistan

According to media news, NATO has closed more than 200 bases in Afghanistan and transferred nearly 300 others to local forces. Now NATO is ready to hand over its security responsibility to Afghan forces.

New Zealand just pulled out its forces after four soldiers including one female soldier were killed. Spain and Australia also pulled out their forces from Afghanistan. Now the Pakistan situation is becoming very similar to that in Iraq after the withdrawal of U.S. forces.

Only independent policies that come out according to the country's own interest can bring positive changes to the region.
